This guide will help you set up alternative MFA methods for VCA and Aura so you can avoid repeatedly entering MFA codes from emails. Follow these steps to configure your MFA settings using passkeys or SMS. Compared to email-based MFA, SMS and Passkey MFAs are easier to use.
Steps to Set Up Alternative MFA Methods
1. Accessing Profile Settings
Open Insight Health and log in to your account.
Click on your profile icon at the screen's top right corner.
From the dropdown menu, select "Settings."
2. Navigating to Privacy and Security
In the Settings menu, click the hamburger icon (three horizontal lines) at the top left corner.
Select "Privacy and Security" from the list of options.
3. Setting Up Alternative MFA
Under the Privacy and Security section, locate "Multi-Factor Authentication."
You will see several options for setting up MFA. Here, you can choose to set up SMS or a built-in authenticator.
4. Configuring SMS MFA
Select the SMS option.
Enter your mobile number.
Follow the on-screen instructions to verify your number. You will receive an SMS with a verification code.
Enter the verification code in Insight Health to complete the setup.
5. Configuring Built-In Authenticator
Select the built-in authenticator option.
If you are using an iPhone, you can set up the built-in authenticator using Face ID.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup with Face ID.
