How to Delete Your Insight Health Account

We understand that sometimes you need to move on, and we've made it straightforward to delete your account when that time comes. The process depends on which type of plan you're using.

For Self-Service Plans

If you're on our free or self-service plan, you have direct control over account deletion right from your settings.

Here's how to do it:

  1. Navigate to Settings in your dashboard

  2. Click on the Data Retention tab

  3. Scroll down to the Danger Zone section

  4. Click the red Delete User button

A quick heads up: this action is permanent. Once you delete your account, all your data, including patient records, templates, and settings, will be permanently removed. There's no way to recover this information, so make sure you've exported anything you need to keep before taking this step.

For Enterprise Plans

If your organization uses an enterprise plan, the process works a bit differently since your account is managed at the organizational level. We handle these requests through our privacy team to make sure that you'll coordinate with your organization's administrators.

You have the right to:

  • Access or edit your personal data

  • Object to certain data processing

  • Opt out of non-essential communications and marketing

  • Request complete erasure of your personal data

  • Restrict how we use your data

  • Transfer your data to other services

  • Receive an electronic copy of all your data

When you contact us, please include your account email and organization name. We'll coordinate with your organization's administrator to process your request, typically within 30 days.

What Happens After Deletion

Once your account is deleted:

  • All personal data and clinical notes are permanently removed

  • You'll no longer have access to the platform

  • Any active subscriptions will be cancelled

  • Shared templates or content you've contributed to your organization may be retained (enterprise plans only)
